Future Sex

Email This Entry

Posted by Arnold

Tyler Cowen has one vision.

Imagine a cell phone that gave you immediate and wonderful orgasms, as well as other services, this would be a huge quality boost of sorts.

I have another.

Everyone expects better sex, and they are willing to pay for assistance. Personal sex therapy has the potential to be a mass-market service, and, yes, the boundary between this and that of the world's oldest profession may turn out to be fuzzy.

Both of these quotes are taken out of context from longer pieces contemplating the future. Cowen looks at the possibility of very rapid economic growth under the scenario that techies call "the singularity." I look at the issue of techie unemployment from the perspective of future trends and say, "In a world where an SAT tutor can get $100 for 45 minutes of work, what is your excuse?"

Looking for Phone Sex Entrepreneurs

What if you could combine the interactivity of phone sex with the visual capabilities of the World Wide Web?

What if the Internet really was just a telephone with pictures?

We developed a high quality video softphone with image compression to have perfect live video streaming.

VoIp will become SoIP (sex over IP) with the happiness of all those who used to complain that VoIp is very little widespread...

Who is willing to jump in this new EXCITING business?
